The great Holy See Temple, built in '62, is considered one of the most striking structures in Asia...it is the headquarters for the Cao Dai religion, a mix of Buddhism, Christianity and Confucianism...we went to the noon prayer service one day - the quiet chanting, the slight breeze and the many candles - a beautiful place south of HCM.

First Motocyclo Ride!

Whoa ! What fun - on my way to a hotel to meet people from University to take taxi to school...and suddenly, urgently, as I had been eyeing the motocyclos for a few days, I stopped a motocylo driver, negotiated him down from his high price and flew off -- Why take a regular taxi again?
